Lira's Story

Lira and her siblings were rescued from behind a Dollar store as kittens. They were infested with parasites and so malnourished, they appeared much younger than they were. Lira was very sick and difficult to handle. Because her fosters had to medicate her so much, she grew up wary of people and was never properly socialized. She LOVES to play and enjoys the occasional petting, but isn’t a lap cat. At almost 2 years old, she will be a difficult cat to home, so we are looking for someone with a big heart and a lot of patience willing to accept her on her terms. We are willing to waive the adoption fee for the right adopter. She is spayed, combo tested negative, vaccinated, and microchipped. We will consider a foster-to-adopt situation.

Please apply for adoption by filling out an application at www.felinelifelinesc.org. Once your application is reviewed, a volunteer will contact you for an interview and followup. If approved, we will schedule a meeting between you and the cat to make sure you both like each other. Thank you for your interest!
