LionPaw's Story

LionPaw has an interesting story… named after a character in the book “Warriors”, LionPaw is in fact a warrior! He arrived at a large property just outside of Guelph, it is not un common for cats to roam this area, but there was something different about Lion- he seemed to be young and missing/lacking much needed survival skills. When LionPaw arrived on this property he was covered in burrs, mats and pieces of random string were found in his fur (he’s a playful boy!)- all LionPaw wanted was some human care, attention and love. He was brought to the veterinary clinic for some much needed veterinary care (de-matting, grooming, bathing, parasite treatment, vaccines, good nutrition and neuter). Despite the rapid change in his environment, LionPaw was loving the human affection, safety and free access to food and water. He loves humans and would be thrilled to be your right hand cat! LionPaw wants to live inside and would benefit form an indoor home- he has had to fend the elements and dangers of outdoor life at such a young age and is happily embracing the indoor life. LionPaw is great with other cats, with the right introduction, he adores playing with the other kittens in our care but would happily embrace the life as an only cat. Lionpaw will happily cuddle you and jump in your lap, he will communicate his love of you with little meows and kisses to the face. Lion is extremely playful so he asks for a home with toys that he can play with and a warm lap to curl up on at the end of the day.
