Lion O's Story

If you are interested in meeting Lion O, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php<br/><br/>Lion-O, born approximately 3/18/25, is a friendly and very energetic and playful kitty that requires another kitty in the home. He also requires a human that wants lots of attention and does not mind a kitty that will get in your face for attention. He will snuggle with you, lay in your lap and sleep on your pillow. He is very vocal and will let you know if he is not receiving enough attention. In his foster home he has chosen his human and is very demanding of that person while accepting attention from other humans as secondary when his human is not available. It is unknown if he will bond with one person in his future home or spread his love amongst multiple humans. He does not like closed doors and will be very vocal if he thinks the door should be open. He gets along with other kitties but does have a dominant personality. If you are looking for two kitties, Lion-O and his sister Cheetara are a good pair. Their personalities complement each other very well.<br/><br/>Lion-O and his siblings had bad cases of upper respiratory infection (URI) when they were rescued. Lion-O continues to have watery eyes which are maintained by wiping with a tissue or cloth. Per the vet, it may be chronic since they have had URI infections and flare ups since a young age and maintenance may be needed long term with immune support or until their immune systems are stronger. <br/><br/>Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.

Fluff Buddies's Adoption Policy
Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm. Please complete our online questionnaire. http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php Fluff Buddies is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group of dedicated volunteers. Our purpose is to provide shelter, food, medical care, and love to homeless felines until we find them loving, furever new homes. Our kitties are FeLV tested, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. However, since the majority of our kitties are rescued from local high-kill shelters or 'from the streets', their backgrounds are unknown and we cannot guarantee the temperament or any unforeseen health problems that may arise with rescued animals. Our kitties are housed in foster homes in Sacramento County, California. Potential adopters are selected through an adoption screening process. There is a nominal adoption fee that goes towards the care of the kitties. We place to indoor only homes. No declawing tho some cats are already declawed when they come to us. We do not ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
