Lion O's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Greetings! I'm Lion O. I'm a wonderful, loving, spunky, and high-energy cat with lots of love to give and tons of personality. I am one of those kitties that's hard to resist. I love to rub against your hand, face, or sprawl out on your lap while you're watching TV. I'll also want to cuddle up in bed with you at night, but don't think I'm not a playful, active guy! I love wrestling with the other kitties at Coco's House or running after flying feather toys. I might even surprise you with a cute little jump! Pick me!

Estimated Birthdate: 4/19/2024

Likes: Cuddling in bed at night, canned food, wrestling with other kitties, and carrying my toys around in my mouth!

Dislikes: Not getting enough attention.

Volunteer Update: Lion O is by far my favorite cat in the Shelter. She has a quiet confidence that the other cats all respect. He'll make friends will any cat that wants to be friends, but also won't take guff from any cat who comes in and wants to be boss. He quickly and quietly lets them know he's not the alpha cat, but Mr. Congeniality. Lion O is one of those cats that is chronically congested. He's been examined and tested a lot and there's nothing wrong with him. He just needs his nose and sometimes his eye wiped out a few times a day (he doesn't object). This type of congestion is not uncommon among cats (should probably be a support group for it) and it often resolves to a large degree in a home environment.

To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application which is available here: https://www.shelteringhands.org/adoptionapplication.

Learn more about Sheltering Hands- visit our website at https://www.shelteringhands.org.
