LINKIN<br/>Some cats wait to be rescued.<br/>Linkin decided to rescue himself.<br/>In June 2026, this handsome boy essentially parked himself directly in the line of sight of one of our clients—and stayed there. Smart move, Linkin.<br/>She knew he needed help and took him in, providing food, shelter, and care while he patiently waited for a spot to open at Crash’s Landing.<br/>We estimate Linkin is about 3 years old, born in the summer of 2023. He was intact when he arrived and had an eye infection, most likely related to feline herpesvirus—a very common problem among cats who have spent time outdoors. Otherwise, his examination, radiographs, and lab work were remarkably good.<br/>And then we met his personality.<br/>Not a single mean bone in this squishy, lovable boy. No matter that he is FIV+.<br/>Linkin is a friend to just about everyone he meets—especially his fellow felines. He is learning to navigate life in a busy free-roaming environment and can occasionally feel a little overwhelmed simply because he is so incredibly sweet.<br/>Most of the time, though, Linkin is perfectly content to enjoy the good life.<br/>You'll find him stretched out on a windowsill, happily birdwatching, or curled up on the toddler bed taking a well-deserved nap. He's not necessarily the guy who will demand that you pay attention to him but approach him with some affection and he is more than happy to accept it.<br/>He's a happy little guy who loves companionship and is learning that there are lots of wonderful things about being an indoor cat.<br/>We think Linkin would be especially happy in a family with children and possibly a feline friend—or two. He has so much love to give and seems to genuinely enjoy being part of a family.<br/>After all, Linkin already proved that he knows how to find the people who will help him.<br/>Now he's just looking for the people who will love him forever.<br/>We have a feeling he'll know exactly where he belongs when he finds them.
