His family absolutely adores him, and parting with him is truly bittersweet—but they know he deserves a home where he can be the center of someone’s world.<br/><br/>Link is wonderfully scruffy, personable, and endlessly loving. He has a whole vocabulary of raspy meows, coos, and adorable little honks that he uses to chat with his people—especially when he hears the refrigerator open. These sounds have become part of his family’s daily soundtrack, and they’re as quirky and charming as he is.<br/><br/>He’s also the most tolerant cat in the house: scoop him up like a baby, paws in the air, and he’ll give you an indignant look but let you do it anyway. He gives his affection freely—head bumps, snuggles, gentle nibbles, and insistent requests for pets are all part of his signature love language.<br/><br/>But in a busy home with four humans and five cats, Link has become the odd one out. Despite receiving lots of affection, it’s always shared, and he longs for a person of his very own. With a recent diabetes diagnosis—now well-managed and under control—he needs a simpler, more peaceful environment and a caretaker prepared to maintain his routine.<br/><br/>Link is an extraordinary cat: quirky, cuddly, expressive, and full of warmth. His family knows he deserves a calmer home where he can finally be someone’s one-and-only (or one of very few).
