Lindie's Story

Hello, I'm Lindie! I'm a sweet and friendly cat who loves to explore. Life here is an adventure, but I dream of a cozy home. I came here as a mom to four adorable kittens. I've nurtured them, and now it's time for me to find my forever family. I'm curious about everything and love meeting new friends. Adopting me means endless purrs, companionship, and a curious little soul to share all your days with. Let's discover the joys of home together!

Note from Paws humans: When Lindie and her kittens arrived at the shelter they were in pretty bad shape. The kittens were infested with fleas, which can actually kill little kittens. Obviously we bathed the kittens right away, and when they were big enough everyone got flea meds, which we apply monthly to all the cats and bigger kittens at our shelter. Lindie had such a severe case of ear mites that it caused a hematoma in her one ear, which is evident in all the photos. Her ear will never return to normal, but we treated the ear mites right away, and she now has a clean bill of health. She really is sweet and would be a wonderful addition to just about any family. To apply to adopt any of our cats or kittens, please visit our website and fill out our on-line application at https://www.pawsurbana.org/apply-to-adopt.

We do not do same-day adoptions, as we have an adoption application which must be completed and verified. We do not allow declawing of any of our animals even after they are adopted, and you must sign a contract agreeing to this (we sometimes take cats in who have already been declawed). We also require that all of the cats and kittens adopted from us must be kept exclusively indoors.
