Lily Pad's Story

Lily Pad is patiently waiting for a special person to adopt her. She has tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV+). This means she needs a home with no other cats, and she will have a shorter lifespan. She also did very poorly in a pet store environment with severe signs of stress, but does just fine in her foster home where she feels comfortable. If you want to give a sweet girl her best life possible in her final years, please reach out!

Second Chance Strays of Columbus's Adoption Policy
Our adoption application includes a comprehensive questionnaire designed to help us ensure the best possible match between each cat and its new family. The application asks about the applicant's history of pet ownership, whether the cat will be kept indoors or outdoors, whether there are any unneutered male cats currently in the home, and whether the applicant intends to declaw the cat. These questions help us evaluate the safety and suitability of the home and support successful, lifelong adoptions.
