Lily Mae's Story
Lily Mae is around six years old and was surrendered for not getting along with the other cat in the home. She's a friendly, talkative girl that enjoys attention from people but would prefer to be the only pet in her new home. She is on the overweight side, so is currently on a healthy weight food here. Her adopter will hopefully continue to help her lose weight so that she can get healthy and be around for years to come!

Lily Mae was given a "lion cut" when she arrived here because her long fur was too matted to brush out. Her adopter should understand the importance of regular brushing to keep her fur from becoming matted again (which can be painful and cause hygiene issues).

Our adoption application and policies can be found here:

https://www.secondchancear.org/adopt-1

(All of our cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, de-wormed, tested for FeLV/FIV, and treated for fleas before adoption)
