Lily's Story
All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step.
Lily is a shy kitten that will need continued socialization to ensure that she comes out of her shell. She does come around with time but will need someone willing to put in the time and effort to continue her socialization. Lily was dropped off at a local vet's office with her siblings after someone's cat had kittens that they could not keep. Lily met a resident cat that was also at the vet's office and quickly took to him and they became incredibly bonded to each other. She looks to him for affection and protection. Being a shy kitten, she seems to find comfort in having her bonded older cat, Levi, around.

*Lily is bonded to Levi and will need to be adopted together*

All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped.
The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
