Lily's Story
Meet Oliver and Lily: The Socialite and His Shadow
Oliver and Lily are 8-month-old siblings who offer the best of both worlds. Oliver is a handsome, high-energy boy who wants to be right in the middle of the action. He is a professional lap-warmer with a soft purr, though he can sometimes get a little over-excited when he's having too much fun! Because he can occasionally give a little "love nibble" when overstimulated, his adopters should be familiar with cat body language. You might also notice a unique little dark speck in his right eye--it just adds to his handsome look! While Oliver is the social butterfly, tiny Lily is his quiet shadow. Having spent her early months as a stray, she is very timid and looks to Oliver for comfort. To help them both succeed, they need a calm home environment. If there are children in the home, they should be at least 12 years old and know how to respect a cat's boundaries. They would likely be okay with a gentle, cat-friendly dog or calm resident cat. A busy or loud household would be overwhelming for Lily and might stunt her progress in trusting people. With a patient family and Oliver to show her the ropes, Lily will feel safe enough to let her own gentle spirit shine. Their pair adoption fee is $500.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
