Lily's Story
Hi, I'm Lily, a beautiful 6-year-old girl with a gentle heart and some pretty spectacular eyes.

I came to the shelter after my owner sadly passed away, so life has changed quite a bit for me recently. As you can imagine, I was a little shy when I first arrived - but even when I was unsure, I never completely shut myself away. I still welcomed gentle pets and showed everyone just how sweet I really am. And if you want to see me forget about being shy altogether, just crack open a can of wet food. Suddenly I'm coming out from my hiding spot and ready to see what you've got!

Underneath my initial shyness is a very sweet, loving girl who genuinely seems to enjoy affection and being close to people. I'm still showing everyone more of my personality as I get comfortable, but so far I've given them every reason to believe I'll make a wonderfully affectionate companion once I'm settled into a home.

At 6 years old, I'm past the wild kitten stage and looking for something a little simpler: a comfortable home, a person to love, and plenty of cozy places to nap. I've already had my whole world change once. Now I'm ready to find somewhere I can settle in, let my guard down, and be someone's sweet girl again.
