Lily Bear (FCID# 02/12/24-4) C,SN food & med's Story

Lily Bear is a sweet girl. She absolutely loves to be petted and to get some friendly attention. A volunteer said, “Lily Bear had just met me, but she loved being talked to softly and she quickly warmed up. She was rolling and stretching, so happy to be petted. Her favorite thing was to nuzzle her head into my hand.”
Lily Bear is enjoying her new foster family. Her foster gave us Lily Bear's backstory: Lily Bear, she is an adult female, and she was very shy and withdrawn. She was rescued after being seen being pushed and kicked off of her owner's porch. Lily Bear wandered across the street where other neighborhood kitties were being fed, she was rescued and has been in foster care most of the time.
Today, Lily Bear is doing very well with her foster family. She gets along with her foster feline pals, is very mellow, loves to be brushed and likes being petted. Lily Bear is a sweet shy little lady. She is really friendly and will spend hours in your lap just enjoying being held and feeling cared for, and she absolutely loves to be brushed. It's heartbreaking to look into her big sweet eyes knowing that she was abused and thrown out of her home, but sadly she was, but Lily Bear is beyond resilient and waiting for her forever family to find her.
Lily Bear gets along with other cats. She is cautious, and she will play with some toys and but prefers to sit and observe, rather than run around, as if she is a judge in the Kitty Olympics or talent show. She does have some medical issues, she has stomatitis which is inflammation of the mouth, and she has had several teeth removed. She is on a monthly shot of Solencia that helps with the inflammation, which she takes like a champ. She is also on a special diet food of Hill's c/d. And loves fresh cold ice water.
Lily Bear is a good girl and deserves soo much better than her past, and she is waiting to meet the right family, or even foster family, and she would be forever your best friend and appreciate every day she spends with you
Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. Thank you! (Foster: Gina B.)
