Lily's Story
Lily is a stunning Main Coon mix who finds herself in a terrible predicament through no fault of her own. Lily found her forever home with a sweet woman who tragically developed dementia over the course of 2 years. As the dementia worsened her behavior became radical, loud, and unpredictable. At the time she and Lily were in a small apartment and Lily became agitated and frightened as her owner's symptoms became more and more disruptive. Sadly, her owner passed away. A very kind cat lover took pity on Lily and took her to live with her. Sadly, she too now faces the same diagnosis and will not be returning home. Lily finds herself alone again. The first time she was alone for 4 months, this time she is being tended to by a kind neighbors for a few minutes a day but has become withdrawn and frightened by the new changes in her daily life. It is so very sad to see this once happy and vibrant cat so despondent and withdrawn.

We are seeking a forever home for Lily, one where she will live out the remainder of her life with security and stability. Lily, like most cats is shy at first, but with time is a loving, affectionate girl. We have no history of her life before her first adoption but feel she will do best as an only cat in a quiet home. She will need a patient new parent; her life has revolved around loss of humans for the past 4 years and it may take her time to form a connection with a new person.

If interested in learning more about Lily please email us at info@forgottenangelsshelter.org.
