Lily's Story

Lily is a beautiful girl who looks Siamese but has just a touch of tabby mixed in-giving her that extra special, soft "mellow girl" vibe. She has a calm, peaceful presence and absolutely loves stretching out for long naps in the sunshine. A warm sunbeam is her happy place.

Her favorite toy? A simple crumpled-up piece of paper! Proof that the best things in life don't have to be fancy. She'll happily bat it around and entertain herself with the sweetest little bursts of playfulness.

Lily isn't quite a lap cat yet-but she's very close. She loves resting right beside you, soaking up your company and feeling safe. We're pretty sure that full lap privileges are coming soon once she knows she's truly home.

She's comfortable with small dogs and has limited experience with other cats, but she has shown curiosity and playfulness-she even played paws under the door with a resident kitty! With slow, proper introductions, she may do well with another friendly cat.

Lily has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Cats with FIV can live long, happy, normal lives with routine vet care and a loving indoor home. FIV is most commonly spread through deep bite wounds, so many FIV+ cats successfully live with other non-aggressive cats. We're happy to answer any questions and help you understand what this means for Lily.

If you're looking for a gentle, mellow companion who enjoys quiet moments, sunshine naps, and being near her people, Lily may be your perfect match.

Apply to adopt at hsdavie.org/cats
