Lily's Story

Lily is a courtesy listing. She is with her family. we will direct your request to them.

This is Lily! Lily is FIV+, not dog friendly, but tolerates cats. She is a steadfast and independent woman who loves a scratch under the chin and a warm place to hang out with her humans. She doesn’t always travel the best in a crate, but settles in with patience, love, and understanding in her new environment.
Sadly...
Last year Lily was trampled by a horse and left paralyzed. After a few months of agonizing recovery, Lily made it out on the other side with a waddle of a walk but a loud voice to let you know when she needs attention. She will lick you like a dog and LOVES a good brush. She is the sweetest lady who needs a quiet home with no dogs. She tolerates other cats.

Fun facts:

- Lily is spayed

- Lily is chipped (ready for the new owners information) – Lily is UTD on all vaccinations

- Lily is around 8 years old and still spry

- Lily is great about using her litterbox despite her disability

- Lily can still jump and run, too

- Lily will come with stairs to help her up on furniture, her cat bowl, her food, and a litterbox with a container of litter we have been using with her to help her transition.

We are located in Cincinnati but willing to travel. To ensure Lily is going to a good home I would like to see the home she will be living in. There will be a small rehoming fee to ensure someone serious is taking her in. I wish we could keep her, but it’s in her best interest she finds new stomping grounds. We have 4 dogs that scare her.
