Hi… my name is Lily! <br/>I’m a little black-and-white girl with a gentle heart and a soft soul.<br/><br/>I might be a bit shy when we first meet. I like to take my time and make sure the world feels safe. I came to the sanctuary as a feral/ under-socialized and it took lots of patience, love, and food (especially food!) before I learned that humans can be kind. Because of that, my future family will need to understand that I’ll probably hide at first while I settle in. But oh… once I warm up? That’s when the magic happens.<br/><br/>When you pet me, I get major elevator butt, straight up! I soak up every single second of affection and turn into a total love bug. My personality is sweet in that quiet, melt-your-heart way, and once you know me, you’re pretty much destined to love me forever.<br/><br/>I adore:<br/>• Catnip toys <br/>• Basking in warm sunbeams <br/>• Cozy beds and comfy naps <br/>• Other cats (I’d love a feline friend in my new home!)<br/>• Lickable treats… you can often find me enjoying one during visiting hours<br/><br/>I also recently had a dental, so my teeth are all fresh, clean, and feeling great!<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate girl who just needs a little patience to show you her whole heart, I might be your Lily. You can come visit me any day between 1–5pm. I’ll probably be nearby… possibly enjoying a treat and dreaming of my forever home. <br/><br/>I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.<br/><br/>I am fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, treated for fleas/ticks/and intestinal parasites, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations.
