Her adoption fee is $75.<br/>She has been vetted, spayed and test negative for FIV/Leuk.<br/>She is ok with other calm, non-dominant cats and dogs, ones that will welcome her and not chase her around, or she would fine as the only pet to have her people all to herself.<br/>Lilly was found lying on the side of the road. Her eyes were sealed shut with puss, she had an upper respiratory infection (kitty cold/flu) and she was severely dehydrated and lethargic. Thank God for her rescuers who drove by at the right time. <br/>PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! IT’S A LIFE!<br/>It took a few weeks for her to get well and even with all the poking and prodding, eye drops and medications she is still a sweet lover at heart. She loves to cuddle and will want to snuggle with her people every chance she can get.<br/>There are times she is content with a kiss and a pat on the head when her people are busy and there are times she says ‘My turn, I’m needy and I insist that you stop and give me all of your time.”<br/>She is not a holdy holdy, she does not like to be picked up, but she will be right by your side. She likes to sit up high and watch all the goings on below her.<br/>She loves boxes and interactive toys like feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the Fling ama String and the $2 ‘cat dancer’ toys. She loves kitty treats, a rectangle corrugated scratcher that lays flat on the floor and a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with sun rays beaming in.<br/>She will expect to share your bed.<br/>She has been free fed quality hard food (quality meaning the first ingredient begins with meat) and gets up to a can of fancy feast morning and night.<br/><br/>Below information is for preventative purposes…<br/>Too many male AND female cats are getting the <br/>UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. <br/>It’s a blockage, it’s painful and if ignored will lead to death. <br/>Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. It’s simple to monitor. Just make sure there is at least one good size pee ball in the litter box a day.<br/>Kitty fountains are effective to help manage a cat’s fluids.
