Lilly's Story

**Great news ! Lilly has been adopted into a home with a dog ! From her new home: Lilly is fantastic and is running our household very professionally. Our Chessie and Lilly sleep a couple feet apart. Lilly walks under Lola's belly, goes up to Lola's face and smells her nose. Lilly plays with all of the toys (we need more), she is a little picky eater, but not a problem for us. She has a strong personality, very smart, curious and affectionate. She is getting used to being picked up, loves to be petted, sleeps in our bedroom on a table next to the bed. She has an appointment with the Cat Vet this week - life is good, Lilly is great. Thank you again for your work and thank you especially for finding Lilly for us - we love her.** **COURTESTY POSTING** MUST SEND EMAIL TO melodiepetrone@outlook.com FOR ADOPTION APPLICATION. Lillly spelled with two L's. A special name for a special girl. Lilly was rescued off the streets by a wonderful rescue group. When the veterinarian went to take her out of the trap she started to roll and purr very loud. She doesn't meow but squeaks, and it sounds adorable ! Her birthday is 5-29-2021. She is about 4lbs currently on 9-29-2021. She is currently in a foster home with a cat friendly, laid back dog. She is in love with him ! Within 5 minutes of meeting him she was rubbing all over him. She is an amazing girl. She knows her name, but also goes by Little Lilly or Silly Lilly. She runs so fast especially at feeding time and for being so small she sounds like a moose when she runs lol. She uses her litterbox, and loves to eat her canned food twice a day. She has a million toys, her favorite are her little mouse toys. She has also been known to sneak a dog toy out as big as her to play with ! She's is currently napping in the dog's toy closet ! She likes to push her mouse toys under the closet door and one night was closed in the closet ! Thank God her foster mom heard her crying. So in her new home you will have to be careful when opening and closing any doors. She loves her round turbo scratcher toy and her flat corrugated scratching box. She is very smart and is definitely a fast learner. She understands the word no, and is being trained to not play bite or scratch furniture in her foster home. She is very tolerant of front and back nail trimming which is done once a month. She is still learning trust and tolerating being held and kissed. She is a very special girl with a wonderful personality. There are no children or other cats in her foster so it is not known how she would acclimate. She would make a wonderful addition to a forever home.
