LILLY's Story

My pictures were taken after I was surrendered to the shelter. That is why my eyes look big and worried. I am confused, why am I here? I heard staff say that my owner is moving and cannot take me. I hope that does not mean that this is my new home! I am sweet and friendly. I have not lived with other pets. I would like a quiet home. I am 6 months old. My spay and vaccinations will be completed prior to adoption. For information about me and/or the adoption process email ds4paws@hotmail.com or call Rob at the shelter 508 822 1463. An approved adoption application is required to bring me home.

Taunton Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
**PLEASE CALL AHEAD FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET PETS AT THE SHELTER. 508-822-1463** Adopt a "best friend" for life! Please remember that dogs and cats of all ages need and deserve happiness, love, and a home. In return, they will love you unconditionally for all of your years together. We adopt to New England Residents only and require current/past veterinarian references. An application is REQUIRED to adopt an animal. Vet references will be checked, as well as references for those who rent. Adoption of an animal will be based on APPROVED applications only. We do not accept debit/credit cards. Payment must be check or money order with proper ID or cash. If submitting an application for a dog, please email it to rdanielczyk@taunton-ma.gov or gasman6637@icloud.com Dogs are $200.00 and cats are $165.00 (kittens up to 6 months are $185.00). This price includes the spay/neuter, rabies shot, and other required vaccinations.
