Lilly's Story

Lilly is a petite 5-year-old young lady with beautiful, colorful markings and a very sweet nature. Sadly, her beloved owner passed away suddenly, and Lilly is now in foster care as she waits for her new forever home.

Lilly is still a little shy in her foster home, but once she feels comfortable, she shows her affectionate side. She loves rubbing her face against her foster’s hand and enjoys having her ears and back scratched. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body—she’s simply a gentle girl who needs a little time and patience to feel safe again.

Lilly did test positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds between cats and is not transmissible to people. Lilly lived with five other cats, and none of them tested positive, which is consistent with her gentle, non-aggressive nature.

An FIV diagnosis does not mean Lilly cannot live a long, happy, and normal life. Many FIV-positive cats enjoy good quality of life for many years with routine veterinary care, a nutritious diet, and a loving indoor home.

After losing the person she loved, Lilly deserves a second chance at a forever family. She is looking for someone who will give her the patience, affection, and security she needs to blossom.

Could you be the person who gives this sweet girl the happy ending she deserves?
