Lili's Story

Meet Lili, a 5-month-old tortie kitten with a big personality packed into a tiny, multicolored body. True to her tortie roots, she’s got plenty of sass — the kind that makes her strut through the room like she owns it (because, honestly, she does). But don’t let her confident streak fool you — Lili’s heart is as soft as her fur, especially when it comes to other cats.

She adores feline friends and is always ready to play, cuddle, or groom her buddies like the little queen she is. Whether she’s chasing tails in a game of tag or curling up for a group nap, Lili thrives on companionship and brings out the playful side in every cat she meets.

With her striking coat, sparkling eyes, and mischievous charm, Lili is equal parts diva and sweetheart — a social butterfly wrapped in tortie attitude. She’s the perfect mix of spunk and sweetness, ready to fill any home with laughter, love, and just the right amount of sass.

Lili is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccines, negative for FIV and FeLV, and microchipped. Backyard Cats of Bed-Stuy's Adoption Policy
I ask that everyone interested in adopting a cat from me starts the application process by filling out my adoption application! The more details you can provide, the better. You can find the app here: https://www.backyardcatsofbedstuy.com/adoption-application Once I've received your application, if I'm interested in moving forward I'll reach out to schedule a Zoom call (or sometimes an in-person meeting, where possible). I often have the foster join as well to talk more specifically about each cat's personality and needs. If the meet-and-greet goes well, and if requested, the potential adopter can arrange a time to meet the cat(s) at their foster homes, or they can start out with a trial "foster-to-adopt" period of one month, to make sure it is a good fit for both cats and humans. A cat isn't considered "fully adopted" until they have been through proper vetting (spayed or neutered, given rabies and FVRCP vaccines, tested for FeLV and FIV, microchipped, and dewormed and treated for fleas). I love to stay in touch with my adopters and often receive updates about their new pets thriving in their forever homes!
