Lila's Story
Lila was a initially a TNR case, but she never displayed aggression or feral behaviors so we decided to give her a chance to rehab. She has come along ways, she enjoys being pet on the head and ears. She likes to eat treats from your finger. She plays a lot with feathers and strings. However, she has still ways to go. She would rather be by herself and is still a bit shy when it comes to new people.

We would like her to find a home with other cats where she can have both human and non-human interactions. We have high hopes that she will learn to trust a human or two and eventually leave behind her shyness to be more affectionate. She has it in her, she just needs a human willing to give her time and space for her to come out of her shell.

Visitors are limited to approved applicants only. Please fill out an adoption application if you are interested in stopping by. We will be in touch once your application is approved to set up a visit.

Adopt: lighthouesanimalshelter.org/adopt
Foster: lighthouseanimalshelter.org/foster
