Lil Dobie's Story
Lil Dobie was found a few weeks ago with his brother, Trevor, crying outside of a unit in a low income housing area. Scrawny, hungry, and with painfully infected eyes, these boys were most likely the offspring of a feral female trying to wean the boys. They are a prime example of the importance of spay/neuter of the outside cat population. We have no way of knowing if there were other kittens in the litter that were too fearful to approach for food as there are many places feral cats can hide and live in that area.

Lil Dobie and Trevor are the lucky ones. Lil Dobie is a very affectionate kitten. Once familiar with new people (which might take him a day) he readily approaches for attention, crying out for his need for some lovin' He is absolutely adorable! Trevor, his lilac and tan tabby brother, retains his feral nature and needs someone who has time to handle him more often. He tolerates human touch, and has even purred for his foster mom. But he needs more work to advance his socialization, and would do best in his very own home, instead of an environment where other foster cats compete for and need attention.

Lil Dobie can be adopted with or without his brother. This little squirt loves chasing and wrestling with his brother, so if you're looking for a pair of active little boys, these two may be the ones for you!

Cats have tested negative for FIV (Feline AIDS) and Feline Leukemia, received their vaccinations for FVRCP, as well as Leukemia and Rabies as appropriate, dewormer, flea preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. Lil Dobie is being fostered for Angels for Animals; therefore, Angels for Animals adoption fees and policies appply.

If you are interested in adopting Lil Dobie, contact his foster mom, Brenda, at 234 - 567 - 7858 or via e-mail at: austinsfam@aol.com Submit an adoption application online by going to: http://www.angelsforanimals.org/CatsQuest.asp
