Lil Ded's Story
Don't let her serious expression fool you -- Lil Ded is a goofball. Her hobbies include bothering her sister from another mister, Les Ded, chasing down mouse toys that rattle, and ripping up balls of crumpled paper. She's happy to be picked up and carried around as long as she's getting attention, and she's got a great purr. Lil is a friendly lady who can't wait to have a human to call her own.

You wouldn't know it from looking at her now, but Lil Ded had a rough start. When she came to Seymour Mutts in September, she was about half the weight she should have been for her age and severely dehydrated. She seemed to have one paw in the grave and be a little bit dead, so she was dubbed Lil Ded. Her cohort, Les Ded, was, well, you get it. Fortunately with TLC, groceries, and vet care they both blossomed into beautiful kitties. Nowadays, The Deds have plenty of energy, great appetites, and require no special care.

Lil Ded was born approximately 6/4/25 and weighs six pounds as of November. We do have an optional adoption application to help get the conversation started, or potential adopters can also send us a message or email. After chatting with the foster home, the next step is a meet and greet so everyone can get acquainted. If the adoption is a go we'll get the paperwork signed to make it official and send the pet home with their medical records. Same day adoptions are possible but not required.

Adoption Fee: We believe in lowering the barriers to adoption; because of this, we do not require a minimum adoption fee. We do, however, rely on financial contributions. Any funds received is at the discretion of the adopter and goes toward the care of animals in our rescue
