Did Lightning strike you with his sweet face?<br/><br/>This boy is about 8-years-old, and his life has not been the easiest. He first arrived at our shelter in June 2025 due to no fault of his own. He spent some time in a foster home, where they reported his sweet and adventurous personality. <br/><br/>Lightning began to show some issues with his mobility, and with further diagnostics we concluded that he has chronic patellar luxation. This is when the kneecap repeatedly slides out of place causing low mobility. Lightning will have lifelong mobility limitations and will also need to continue to lose weight. <br/><br/>Despite this, Lightning just wants to live a normal, happy life alongside a loving family.
