Liger

Liger will be approximately 3 years old on 9/22/2015 and due for his next rabies vaccination. He was rescued along with 9 other cats from a man who who could no longer afford to feed them all and almost homeless himself. A Paws & Claws volunteer took him into her home and named him Liger because he looks like a cross between a lion and tiger with unusual markings. He is actually a Lynx Point Siamese mix with beautiful blue eyes. He has lived inside every since September 22, 2014 and taken to the vet for his rabies vaccination. He is a neutered male cat with a small ear tag and so very much loved. His vet records are provided. Domestic Short Hair. Color: Tan/Brown. Rabies Tag# 11237. Due to health-related issues and circumstances beyond her control, the volunteer is no longer able to keep Liger in his current home and will happily provide the $60 adoption fee in order that Liger goes on to the perfect loving fur-ever home to live out the rest of his life comfortably inside only. He loves laying by men or women's shoes by the back door. A scratching post comes with him. Truly one handsome cat who also likes to think he is the Alpha Male. Like all Siamese cats, he is vocal and loves attention. Liger is not particularly a lap cat at his current home because another cat and smal dog take the lap first. He comes from a home with two other cats (both male) and three dogs. Liger is his name but comes to the name Maximus and would rather be in a house with non-aggressive dogs – mostly ignoring them if they would keep out of his personal space. Liger loves Cassius Clay and it would be nice if they could be adopted together as they play well and are quite bonded. Like Cassius Clay, Liger eats wet food but has to have it in moderation to keep a slim physique. His diet consists of mostly fresh water daily and dry food with low ash to prevent crystal formulation in his urine – like all cats have a tendency to get especially male cats. Liger is also just a tad bit spoiled rotten … but so deserving of your love – and he returns it when he feels like it. He loves attention and to be pet on the side of his cheeks. Please give him time to adjust to his new surroundings and his new home. That is all I can ask and pray for.
