Liesl

Liesl is a beautiful longhair black girl born late June 2025. She loves playing with her roommates, but will always take a time out to be held and petted by the shelter volunteers and visitors. Liesl has a long gorgeous tail and she moves around with beauty and grace - then off she goes with the zoomies - leaving class in the dust. She would be a wonderful addition to any family, but she would really love another cat in her new home. Liesl hopes she will find a new family in time to be Home for the Holidays!<br/><br/>All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org<br/><br/>When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.<br/><br/>Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.<br/><br/>If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes.
