Licorice's Story

Licorice and her six siblings were found in Hamilton, Ohio by kind people who stepped in to help. They made sure mom and all seven kittens were fixed, began vaccinations, and then contacted HART to help the family find loving homes.

When Licorice first arrived in foster care, she and her siblings were unsure and timid. With time, patience, and care, they have completely blossomed into affectionate, playful kittens who love running, playing, and interacting with other kittens and cats. Licorice especially enjoys feather toys and pom poms.

When the litter first came into rescue, several of the kittens had eye infections. Because Licorice’s infection was not treated early enough, she developed an eye ulcer. It does not appear to bother her and does not slow her down at all. She remains a happy, active, and loving kitten.

Licorice is incredibly sweet and ready for her forever home. She would love to be adopted with her buddy Turkey, as they enjoy each other’s company and would make a wonderful pair.

HART recommends kittens 6 months of age and younger be adopted in pairs.

If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
