But once he realizes you are kind and trustworthy, his affectionate side begins to shine through. He happily leans into pets, enjoys neck scratches, and quietly seeks out affection from the people he feels safe with. Beneath his cautious first impression is an exceptionally loving cat who truly wants to connect.<br/><br/>Licorice is also one of the most cat-social cats you could hope to meet. He gets along beautifully with other cats, avoids conflict, and often seeks out companionship from his feline friends — rubbing against them, curling up nearby, and happily sharing space with the other foster cats.
