Hello all, my name is Lia! I arrived in Minnesota with my 3 older kittens, and I’m so eager to find my very own person or people. My foster mom was delighted to see just how quickly I adapted to my new foster room/surroundings. I was so thrilled to have some space to stretch out a bit. My favorite way to greet my foster is to ask politely if I can climb on her shoulders or “ride around” on her back while she busies about filling our food and water dishes or scooping our litter. I'll stretch out and encourage her to pick me up - I love to give and receive affection. I’m a pretty content gal as long as you don’t mind a shadow for part of your day!<br/><br/>Lia is such a beautiful soul. She's a polydactyl with a beautiful dilute torti coat. You’d hardly believe she’s the mama of her babies who are now as big as she is, except she gifted them with beautiful colors too! She’s patient and sweet and still loves to chase a toy too! She's very patient with them but would love to have a home of her own. Lia has an extreme purr motor and will meow soft hellos to you in greeting. She’s also very content to be carried around – a very sweet gal all around. She loves her kitty scratch mat, has been very good about getting her nails trimmed, and uses her litter box with perfect manners. While we offer a special discount if you're interested in adopting one of her babies too, she'd also do just fine going to her own home. Whoever adopts her will be lucky to fill their home with so much affection. <br/><br/>This beautiful kitty is Mom to: Loki, Lucian, Lumi. She is part of the Mom and Me program. Moms and kittens often form close bonds and do well together in homes. So to keep families together and allow our Moms the opportunity to get into a new home sooner, you can adopt one of her kittens at the regular adoption fee and also adopt her for only $100 more. If you are interested in this program, please fill out an application and indicate which Mom and kitten you are interested in. <br/><br/>Lia is 1.5 years old and 6 lbs. All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed.
