Meet Lexi and Noelle - ADOPTION PENDING!
Lexi and Noelle are a mother/daughter duo who are bonded and must be adopted together. They are apprehensive at the center, but once they get into their forever home we know their personalities will bloom.
Lexi is a lovely tortoise shell cat who made her way to Second Chance Cats after being rescued by a community caregiver. She was living in a feral
encampment with her three kittens, one of whom is Noelle. Lexi was barely able to provide milk to nourish them. She was underweight and wary of humans but gradually began trusting the caregiver. As a result, after a few months of interaction, the caregiver was able to catch Lexi and her three kittens and take them inside. Lexi loved to lay on her caregiver’s lap, and enjoyed being pet especially ear and belly scratches. Lexi also has a sweet, little purr.
Bonded to her human caregivers, the once fearful, apprehensive, malnourished, kitty is now very healthy and happy. Lexi has had a few seizures in the past, so potential adopters will be told what to look for. Lexi quickly recovers and does not have any additional long term medical issues. Noelle too, has had one seizure of short duration and she recovered quickly.
Noelle is a beautiful tortoise shell cat who was one of the kittens living with her mother, Lexi, and two siblings in a feral encampment. She was underweight, wary of humans but gradually began to trust her caregivers. Noelle is quite shy but enjoys being petted and played with. She loves her Temptations treats! With a patient and gentle adopter, Noelle will come to trust and will enjoy sitting next to you.
Although Lexi and Noelle look similar, Lexi has green eyes and a wider face, while Noelle is more orange in color and has yellow eyes. Lexi and Noelle are reserved girls who need a patient adopter who will give extra time for them to acclimate and adjust to their new home. The adopter will be rewarded with two lovable, gentle, beautiful companions.
Both girls have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Lexi's approximate birthdate is 8/15/21 and Noelle's is 6/18/22. Their adoption fee is $190.
