Lexi's Story

Lexi is one of the most loving and serene cats you will ever have the pleasure to meet. She purrs and kneads at the sight of her foster mom. She loves people and is a lap lover! Luxuriating in a lap makes her very happy! She follows her folks around and when they sit, she sits!
Lexi also would make a great companion to a dog—she now hangs out with her foster mom’s —-and she would be HAPPY with another companion cat!
Lexi has exotic coloring, attributed in part to her lilac Siamese background. You can see the Siamese lineage in her blue tinted eyes.
This sweet cat was rescued at the height of winter’s freeze and is grateful to be inside, playing with toys and even catching a few real mice to present to her foster.
Lexi is in diabetic remission, which means that she does NOT require any daily insulin or prescription food. Lexi will, however, need to be on a low carb, no dry food diet for the rest of her life (Wet Fancy Feast pate only). Lexi is one of the few lucky cats whose diabetic condition reversed itself. She responded well to medical treatment as soon as she was rescued and began treatment for high glucose levels.

To apply to adopt Lexi, please contact Brenda’s Cat Rescue at https://www.brendascatrescue.org/adoption-process
