Lexi's Story

Lexi is a beautiful, Domestic short hair with the softest fur and the kindest eyes. Born in May 2023, she may be a bit shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—this gentle girl has so much love to give once she feels safe. Due to her special needs (limited vision), Lexi will need an indoor-only home where she can feel secure and navigate her surroundings with ease. She's not blind, but her vision challenges mean a calm, predictable environment will help her thrive. Lexi does well with other cats, cat-friendly dogs, and even respectful children—as long as introductions are slow and thoughtful. She appreciates gentle voices and soft touches, and once she trusts you, she’ll reward you with quiet companionship and tender affection. If you're looking for a sweet, special girl who will blossom in a patient and loving home, Lexi might just be the perfect match. Lexi is ready to find her forever family—could it be yours? Lexi has been spayed, vaccinated including rabies, microchipped, wormed, and negative for FIV/FelV.

Note: To adopt, you must live within approximately 100 miles of one of our adoption sites (Benld or Springfield IL), and be at least 18 years of age.
