Levi's Story
Together with his bonded sister Lilac (see additional listing), Levi was abandoned at a local apartment complex. The two lived outside together for at least several months.

A neighbor fed the two while looking for their owner, but no one claimed them. Animal House Rescue became involved when the temps were dangerously cold. He and Lilac transitioned to indoor life by living in a garage for a few weeks until they weren’t afraid of being inside anymore. Now they are working on feeling safe around adults and other pets. They are being fostered in an adult household, so it’s unknown how they’d be around children.

Levi ihas made huge gains in his trust of and love for people. He likes snuggling with people as well as with his sister. He is litterbox trained, and loves to explore the house.

He and Lilac (his presumed littermate) have been through the wringer together and need to go to the same home. They need someone patient who wants the reward of bringing two kitties back out of their shells. He is a sweet cat and will be a beloved pet for someone special.

Vet notes: Levi was neutered on 2/12/2025. The vet estimated him to be two years old. He weighs 11.4 lbs. He got the FVRCP vaccine (Feline Rhinothracheitis / Feline Calicivirus). He is negative for feline leukemia virus, feline immunodeficiency virus, and heartworma. He had dewormer and flea/tick preventive treatment on 2/2/2025. He still needs a rabies vaccine.
