LESHY's Story

LESHY is named after the Slavic protector of the forest. He wandered onto the property of a member of our team. Leshy was suffering from badly matted hair and wounds and a severe respiratory infection. We brought Leshy in, had him neutered, shaved with a lion cut, got antibiotics on board and he is now a new "man". Leshy did test positive for FIV but NOT FELK. He will need an adopter who knows a little about FIV. He also is about 6 years old so may need to be monitored a bit more closely for aging things. At the moment, Leshy is just enjoying being indoors in the warmth and getting lots of attention and love. We have absolutely adored this fella. His fur is now growing back and he is becoming the handsome boy we always knew he was! He adores pets, purrs constantly and loves to cuddle in his foster mom's lap. He gets along great with the other cats in his foster home.
