Leopold's Story
Fostered in Santa Cruz, California.

Leopold: 2 yr old male seal point Ragdoll

Let me just say first "No I didn't Photoshop his eye color." They are
an amazing blue, I did change his name to Leopold. ( How could
anyone name him" Biscuit" ? )

I frequently say to people "Ragdolls are so sensitive they don't take
to a change of environment well at all." Well this guy is the
exception to that rule. He was in the shelter 18 days. When his 4
hour car ride got him to me he was as friendly and happy and outgoing
as could be as he wound around my legs in happy greeting. Hello
Hello Purr Purr. Rub Rub.Not a shy nervous cat.

He is still in isolation since he might be coming down with a cold
from being in the shelter. ( another 5 days ( til 10/7) poor thing _
So we brought him out of his room today and said "This is important
Leopold .Please Pose. for us !!" You can see the result. He
stretched and flopped and went limp the way the rumor has it that
Ragdolls do. Look at him. That says it all. He is a big goof ball, a
comdian..

And he is a total love. Good with other cats. Probably with dogs.
Probably with kids. He likes everything.

He is fairly big guy. Not HUGE but he hasn''t stopped growing yet .
Ragdolls grow into their third year so he has a ways to go. He is
sturdy and healthy with a limber spine. His coat is soft and lush.
His eyes are amazing. He is a positively fabulous cat. I have no
info on how he came to be in the shelter. Someone's loss is someone
else's gain.A new family will be very lucky to have his companionship.

He eats wet and dry and is litterbox perfect.

His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, San Francisco Bay Area, and Northern Nevada,is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exception felines. We are a 501 c3 non profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
