Meet Leonidas! He is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative and vaccinated. This boy is approximately 3 years old and has not had an easy life lately. He came from a home with a kitty friend and life was good until his mom brought home a new puppy. Leo did not care for this puppy and let his mom know the only way he could, but inappropriately peeing places. He was brought to the vet to rule out medical issues and he was very healthy so the puppy was the issue. Despite that fact, his mom chose the puppy over him and asked the vet to euthanize him! Fortunately the vet refused and long story short, Leo is safe with Feline Furcrew Rescue. Leo has been very traumatized by this experience however and he needs a very calm, quiet household with no other pets or children. Whomever adopts Leo needs to understand that he will not run up for love right away and that he needs to be allowed to come out of his shell at his own pace.
