Leoni's Story

Leoni was one of 65 felines rescued from a hoarding situation. She was only 4 months old at the time. Traumatized, she was originally dubbed kitten “#11” and loaded into a cage. She was terrified of people. When she landed in our foster care, this frightened little girl began her journey living with people who cared about her. Now at 10 months, Leoni has flourished! She has made friends with our house kitties, and two large dogs. She cruises the house following us or our elder kitty, and entertains us with her playful antics. She relishes pets and scratches - flopping down in front of our feet for attention. Since she was not handled when she was young, being picked up still makes her nervous. She is beginning to jump into our laps for cuddles and pets.

Leoni is offered as an indoor only pet, and is a litter-box pro. She would love a home with friendly and playful adults, cat(s), and/or dog(s). Gentle children are OK too. Leonie had a rough start in life, but she is ready to find her forever home.
