At four months old, Leoni was one of 65 felines rescued from a hoarding situation. Truamatized, she was originally dubbed cat “11” and loaded into a cage. She was terrified of strangers. When she landed in our foster care, this frightened little girl was renamed and drawn into socialization. At 8 months, "Leoni" has flourished! She has made friends with our house kitties, and even gone nose-to-nose with our boxer for a wee “nice to meet you” sniff. She cruises the house behind our elder kitty, and entertains us in our leisure.<br/>Kitten 11 received little human contact. But for gentle Leoni, human touch and playful moments are the norm.
