Leonardo's Story

Meet Leonardo! This handsome guy came to us from BCAC after he was removed from a horrible hoarder neglect house (the same house where another SBAR cat, Landon, came from). Leonardo was unaltered (he is altered now) and it took awhile for him to adjust to shelter life but now we can safely say he has! Leonardo has become one of our main greeters in the shelter (he is a smaller less “enthusiastic” Mugs) and will climb in your lap if given the chance. He also free roams and is not one of our problem children so he is good with other cats. Leonardo has already been through more than enough during his life and deserves his forever home. <br/>Leonardo is roughly 5ish years old (estimated since he came from a horrible home),neutered, FIV/FeLV negative and UTD on vaccines.

Shreveport Bossier Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Start by completing our adoption application online at sbanimalrescue.org/adopt If you have current/previous pets, we will check with your veterinarian to ensure that they receive appropriate care. We can also recommend a veterinarian if you are a new pet owner. If you rent, we need confirmation from your landlord that pets are allowed in your home. While we don't do same-day adoptions, you should hear from one of our adoption volunteers within 72 hours. When your application is approved, we will schedule a pick-up time for your new kitty! We always love to see photos of our SBAR kitties in their new homes! You can send photos to our email or our Facebook page.
