Leonard's Story
Leonard is a big, regal boy. He was transferred to us from another rescue group after being found outside. Leonard is FIV+ so we are looking for a home either as an only kitty or with other FIV kitties. He can be nervous with loud noises or new people so he is looking for a quiet, patient adopter. However, he has started to come out of his shell here at the Shelter. When he trusts you, he loves cheek rubs!

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat.

If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting.

If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
