Leo's Story

If you are looking to bypass the chaotic kitten phase and bring home a mature, fully formed companion, Leo is ready to step into your life. Leo is a striking Domestic Medium Hair gentleman who looks as though he is permanently dressed for a formal event in his sleek black-and-white tuxedo coat. He has brilliant, expressive green eyes that take in everything around him, a pristine white chest, and a completely unique, charming black smudge on his chin that looks like a little goatee. His previous family was unfortunately forced to surrender him due to a move, but Leo has kept his chin up and his spirits high. Since arriving, he has given us two very big surprises. First, underneath that beautiful medium-length coat is an adorable, naturally short bobtail that makes him look utterly unique. Second, his routine shelter bloodwork revealed he is FIV+. While Feline Immunodeficiency Virus sounds intimidating, it simply means he has a slightly different immune system; FIV+ cats routinely live long, happy, completely normal lives, and because Leo is a lover rather than a fighter, he poses virtually no risk to other non-aggressive cats.

Leo is a massive "people person" who acts as an instant friend to every human he meets. He is deeply appreciative of physical affection, loves to beg for attention, and is a world-class napper who will gladly keep your couch warm. While he is a total social butterfly with humans, Leo acts more like an introvert when it comes to other felines. He prefers to have his own personal bubble, but he is highly tolerant and peaceful around other cats as long as they respect his space. With his stunning tuxedo markings, unique bobtail, and calm, affectionate demeanor, Leo is the absolute perfect fit for a family seeking a low-maintenance, deeply loving best friend. Come meet Leo today and let him show you what a perfect gentleman he truly is!

His adoption fee is $75 and includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, preventatives and microchip ID.
