Leo's Story
**Leo is located in the St. Charles, IL area **

Leo and his siblings (Gemini and Taurus) came from a local animal control. We believe they are around a year old.

Leo was initial very shy in his new foster home, but he has since burst out of his shell. He is a playful loving goofball that loves to treat his humans like a jungle gym. He also likes to snuggle, but he is still very young, so he doesn't stay still very long. He especially loves ball toys--we are trying to teach him to catch. (He shows potential!). He also loves sitting in the window and watching the squirrels.

Leo is also a smart little guy. He has figured out how to turn on and off light switches in his foster home. (Foster note: this is a lot of fun when showering!) This smarty pants has also figured out how to turn on lights with pull chains.

Like all of his siblings, Leo LOVES other cats. They keep trying to win over the older cats at the foster home (to mixed results...but they keep trying). But what he loves more than cats is getting fed. He will chirp and purr and wind through your legs when you are opening cans of cat food.

Leo can is be a bit skittish, especially with loud noises and new people. But once he warms up he is a charming companion. But because he can get easily spooked, he might not well around small children.

Leo would do great with one of his siblings or with another friendly cat. He also lives with a medium sized dog. He doesn't love the dog (to be fair, the dog IS obnoxious) but he tolerates her.

You can find our adoption application here: http://illinoisanimalrescueinc.org/
