Leo's Story

Leo, the stunning and handsome lad. Don't let his sophistication fool you. He is quite a playful little guy. He is estimated to be a year to year and a half old. He may even have a little Maine coon mixed in. He loves attention and will quickly love lap time once he gets to know you. Even though he was let down by Society he holds no grudges and is a super love bug. He is waiting on his special family to see him on here. He has a medium size dog Foster brother and he does well with kids over the age of eight. Schedule a meet and greet with him and you won't be disappointed.

Once a potential adopter reaches out regarding a cat or kitten we make contact and discuss what they are looking for and if this cat matches the personality they are looking for. Once we are both satisfied that this cat/kitten is a match we will send them a adoption application to complete and return. We will then schedule a meet/greet. If meet/greet goes well and the cat/kitten as well as the adopter is comfortable we will move forward with the adoption process. Why Our Rescue Requires a Home Visit At Scruffy To Fluffy Cat Rescue, the safety and well-being of our animals is our top priority. That’s why we require a home visit as part of our adoption process. The home visit allows us to ensure that the environment is safe, suitable, and nurturing for the animal. It helps us understand your living situation, answer any questions you may have, and ensure that the animal’s needs will be met in its new home. This step helps us match animals with the right families, reduces the chances of returned adoptions, and ensures every rescue finds a loving, permanent home.
