Leo's Story

"Courtesy Post" This is not a Street Paws animal but we are assisting a family with placing their pet. Meet Leo Leo is a charming senior cat with a unique personality. He was abandoned at a vet clinic and found his forever person in December 2015 when the user's mom, grieving the loss of her dog, welcomed him into her life. They were inseparable until her passing. Leo is friendly and food-motivated, bonding easily with those who feed him. He appreciates affection but on his terms—3-4 strokes are his limit before he lets you know he’s done. For someone seeking companionship without the constant need for cuddles, Leo is the perfect match. This grumpy yet lovable gentleman is quiet and low-maintenance, only becoming vocal when he thinks it’s feeding time. All of his supplies will accompany him to his new home. Leo is ideal for someone who values having a pet nearby for quiet company and an occasional chat at mealtime. Are you the one to give Leo his next chapter of comfort and care? Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions. Adoption fee is $75 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt. This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to obtain approval to meet the pet.
