LEO's Story

Hello! I’m LEO (DOB: ~04/24/2026), a male brown tabby domestic medium hair. And while I may be a bit petite for my age, that doesn’t hinder my love to play and desire to curl up on a fleece blanket in your lap. I am definitely a snuggler but I also play with my siblings, LUKE and LARRY, too. I love my toys that make noise and have things that flip around like the toys with the butterflies on them, and I definitely love to play in the kitty tunnel at my foster home. I will snuggle around your neck when I am tired after extensive play with my siblings, and will steal your heart very quickly. My eyes will make you fall in love with me. I would do best with children 8 years old or older because sometimes young kids want to hold the kitty, but I would prefer a home with a younger kitty that also has a sweet personality. I love eating my Royal Canin kitten wet and dry foods and will also come with a goody bag to get you started on spoiling me. I am a true gem who will bring you so much joy. I am neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for Feline FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $150.00, but if you adopt me with one of my siblings, our adoption fee together is $200.00.

Fancy Feline Rescue of the South, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We do not do same-day meet-and greet adoptions without a previously approved Adoption Application. If you are interested in adopting, we ask that (1) you read over our Adoption Process (https://www.facebook.com/FancyFelineRescue/posts/pfbid02VQPgDKca62RNyd8THoXXcJBKX5G5rmgPYLMQqNLKAK6gDNxSjW3yCLD4bX1cCkfZl) and then (2) complete our online Adoption Application (https://FancyFelineRescue.org/adoptapp.htm). Please keep in mind that we have a Companion Cat Policy: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 1 must go into a home with another cat/kitten. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions. THIS IS IMPORTANT: Once you submit the application, the process usually takes about a week; however, if you do not provide us with complete, verifiable information on the application, the process can take longer. Please make sure that all information is complete, especially regarding vet information for all previous pets, and that you contact those vet offices to give them authorization to release any information on your pets to our Adoption Counselor. Please note that by completing the Application, it in no way obligates either you or Fancy Feline Rescue of the South. It will, however, give us a chance to do a bit of “homework.” When we begin processing the Application, our Adoption Counselor, Fran Jackson (franjackson@earthlink.net), will contact you either by phone or email, so please keep an eye on your spam email folder in case an email from her happens to end up in your spam email! If we do not receive a response from you within 7-10 days regarding any questions we may have concerning your Application, we will file it away as “no response,” and move forward with the next application. Also please note that we consider Applications on a best home, first come, first served basis. We have suspended our normally scheduled twice-monthly meet-and-greet events and we do not have a public facility. We do, however, set appointments to conduct adoptions for those who have approved Applications.
