Leo's Story

Leo the cat is a plush pillow of warmth and affection, a lovingly devoted lap cat who thrives on every moment spent nestled against your chest. Though incredibly playful and endlessly curious, Leo has a gentle side: new faces and unfamiliar places can send him scurrying at first, but with patience and a few soothing words, his cautious heart softens. Once he trusts you, he delights in tumbling after feathered teasers, pouncing with kitten-like glee, and curling into a purring bundle on your lap. He loves to snuggle against you, stretching out all his limbs and draping his tail across your legs. <br/>Born April 2025

Weatherford Whiskers's Adoption Policy

Adoption forms are online and then are reviewed by a committee. If approved, then the entire family is asked to come see the cat(s) that they are wanting to adopt so that the staff can observe that the entire family is committed to this adoption. Then formal paperwork is signed and the process is complete. Can take up to 2 weeks for this process to occur.

Our cage free facility has 5 rooms of free roaming cats with access to a catio for safe outdoor enrichment in 3 of the rooms. We rescue high risk cats and kittens from our local shelters.
