Lenny's Story

Lenny is, quite simply, the sweetest boy ever—just ask his foster! This affectionate guy started life with a family who loved him dearly, but when unexpected health concerns arose, they made the difficult decision to surrender him so he could get the care he needed. Now, Lenny is thriving and ready to find his forever home.

This lovable cuddlebug is all about affection. He loves to snuggle, give kisses, and soak up the sunshine during a cozy afternoon nap. If there’s a sunny spot in your home, you can bet Lenny will claim it!

Lenny is also wonderfully playful and adores children—he’s always on the lookout for a playmate. Wand toys are his absolute favorite, and he’ll happily chase, pounce, and entertain you with his antics. He’s grown up in foster care alongside a small dog and gets along great—though he does have a mischievous streak and enjoys sneaking pieces of dog food to bat around like toys!

Lenny was diagnosed with feline herpesvirus, which is very common in cats and manageable with proper care. Because of this, he would do best in a home without other cats, or with an adopter who has experience caring for cats with this condition.

If you’re looking for a loving, playful, sunshine-loving companion who will shower you with affection, Lenny might just be your perfect match.

Adoption fee is $150. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed and kept up to date on flea prevention.

If you’re interested in adopting, please apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CMR/Cat
