Lenny's Story

We received an email asking for help for 6 young cats (3 males and 3 females) A friend is trying to help this person who is unemployed and elderly. He kindly took in a poor stray cat at the end of winter this year. Much to his surprise he walked into his room one day to find a pile of kittens!! We do not have any available foster homes, but we needed to somehow stop the cycle of more unwanted kittens.

I just wanted to give you an update on Lenny and Louie. Both are doing amazing. Louie is a different cat from when I first got him. He now lets me hold him and seeks me out for pets. Lenny has made great progress. I’ve woken up a few times with him laying in my bed which he never did before. And when I feed him I’m able to pet him. He also doesn’t go and hide anymore . So proud of the both of them.

Lenny has come a long way. He’s now playing with toys and interacting more with my other cats. With each day, he becomes more confident and trustworthy of people.

Interested in adopting Lenny, please contact us info@werescuecats.ca
